Our History

Based in Melbourne, YellowFIN Robotics was founded in 2016 by master mariners and chief engineers with decades of naval  experience. Initially set up to deliver for the maritime and mining industries, YellowFIN Robotics soon realised the need to offer similar innovative solutions in industries such as Survey, Mapping, Asset and Land Inspections, Search & Rescue, Government departments and Security & Surveillance.

At YellowFIN Robotics we are a powerful combination of motivated professionals and revolutionary technology. Our team have the highest level of safety ingrained in them, through decades of work with the Oil and Gas Industry and we strive to use robotics in improving operational Safety & Efficiency for our clients. We are a CASA approved RPAS Operator (ReOC0454). Our team includes CASA certified RPAS Controllers (up to 25kgs); Engineers; Robotic scholars supported by a fleet of multi-rotor UAVs/Drones and software capability.
